Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can You Work at All Venues?
We are fully covered by both public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Thanks to this, you can book us with complete confidence for all venues.
-
How Many Photos Will We Get?
We will give you all the photos taken, except duplicates. On average, this means between 500-800 photos on your USB, all of which will be individually edited to ensure the highest quality.
-
Are Your Photos in Black and White or Colour?
We give you a mixture of black and white and colour photographs. However, we will discuss your requirements with you before your wedding day to ensure your photos are exactly what you want, and of course, we are happy to include Coloursplash if requested.
-
What Is Your Style of Working?
We are known for our relaxed friendly and inconspicuous style of working. we seamlessly work as a team with one of us taking more formal photos whilst the other concentrates on the candid, informal, and often most popular shots of your day.
-
Can We Obtain Prints of Our Photos?
You will be given a copyright-free USB of all your images for you to print out and share. However, we also give you the opportunity to purchase prints in a variety of sizes and finishes, which is particularly popular with your guests who may have travelled far to be with you on your wedding day.
-
Will We Be Able to Order a Wedding Album of Our Choice of Photos?
We include a high-quality 25x28cm photobook free of charge with all our packages, using our favourite photos of your wedding day. By using our choice of photos, the book will be ready to give you when we deliver your USB (normally as soon as you return from your honeymoon). However, some couples request a wedding album using photos of their choosing. We offer a wide range of wedding albums to suit all tastes and budgets.
-
Do You Provide Engagement or Pre-Wedding Shoots?
A pre-wedding shoot is included in our platinum package but can be booked separately for £180 (up to 2 hours coverage at a mutually agreed venue )
-
What Are the Advantages of Two Photographers?
No matter how good, no photographer can be in two places at the same time, and therefore many once-in-a-lifetime moments can be missed. We are both highly experienced wedding photographers and by working together, we unobtrusively capture your day as it unfolds from different viewpoints and angles. We ensure your photos truly reflect the beauty, magic, and often humour, of your wedding day.
-
Do You Ever Photograph More Than One Wedding a Day?
No – our time on your wedding day is completely yours. No matter what package you have booked, we would never photograph more than one wedding a day. We also remain flexible, so that even on your wedding day, if you regret not booking us for a longer time, we are free to negotiate additional cover.
-
What Happens If You Are Ill on Our Wedding Day?
This is another obvious advantage of having two photographers. In the unlikely event that one of us is ill, the other is a highly experienced wedding photographer and fully competent at covering your wedding alone. However, another professional photographer has agreed to cover for us if required. We hope this will never happen, but your wedding day is so special it is nice to have this fallback in place, just in case.
-
We Are Getting Married Abroad – Would You Be Able to Photograph Our Wedding?
We are happy to travel abroad for your wedding or blessing. We have photographed weddings in America and Italy and have recently returned from photographing a delightful blessing in Poland. We would be happy to discuss your requirements and give you a quote – you would probably be pleasantly surprised.
-
What Areas Do You Cover?
We live in Kent, on the borders of Greater London. We are therefore well situated to cover weddings in most parts of London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. However, we have also photographed weddings from much further afield, including Italy and Poland, so no matter where your wedding is being held, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss further. We cover all weddings, big or small, as well as civil ceremonies and blessings.
-
We Are Interested In Booking BVF Photography – What Happens Next?
Please either phone or email to find out more. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have and to discuss your requirements. We would then organise to meet with you both. This gives you a chance to get to know us (and us a chance to know you too before your wedding). We would then discuss your wedding plans in detail to ensure we know exactly your wishes for the day. If you would like to proceed, you will be asked to pay a £100 holding deposit.
